Instructions for Authors
Important Dates
Paper Submission Deadline- March 15, 2022 Notification of Acceptance - April 30, 2022 Camera-Ready Deadline- May 15, 2022
Prospective authors are invited to submit and to present their technical contributions on Technical Tracks of GPECOM 2022 for publication. Accepted and presented papers will be published in 2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference Proceedings and will be submitted to IEEE Xplore® digital library. Please carefully note that GPECOM2022 is a peer-reviewed conference and No-show papers are not submitted to IEEE Xplore® digital library.
All the submissions should be written in English with a maximum 6 (six) printed pages length including figures and tables. The papers should be prepared compliant with LaTeX IEEEtran style or the Word template and should be submitted to CMT Proceeding Submission System in PDF file format. Authors may use one of Microsoft Word A4 or LaTeX template of IEEE, but only PDF files will be accepted for review process.
Please note that IEEE conference templates contain guidance text for composing and formatting conference papers. Please ensure that all template text is removed from your conference paper prior to submission to the conference. Failure to remove template text from your paper may result in your paper not being published. It is authors’ responsibility to include all co-authors, not just corresponding author, during the paper submission process. Please note that author list of an accepted paper can not be changed in the final submission.
The accepted papers which will be announced on April 30th should be revised and camera-ready versions are required to be prepared according to following steps:
Before Creating PDF of Camera-Ready Version
1. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it has been revised according to Reviewers’ comments and will require no revision.
2. The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. Detailed instructions can be found at: https://www.ieee.org/publications/rights/index.html
• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-6925-8/22/$31.00 ©2022 Crown
• For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
978-1-6654-6925-8/22/$31.00 ©2022 European Union
• For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-6925-8/22/$31.00 ©2022 IEEE
Uploading of the final camera-ready version
- Before uploading to the CMT, camera ready papers must be validated using IEEE PDF eXpress tool, and
- IEEE Copyright form should be filled in.
Creating your PDF eXpress Account
- Log into the IEEE PDF eXpress™ site
- First-time users should do the following:
- Select the New Users – Click Here link.
- Enter the following:
- 55404X for the Conference ID
- your email address
- a password
- Continue to enter information as prompted
- Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
