Declaration of GPECOM2021 Presentations for Academic Encouragement Rewards- 29/12/2021

The following declaration is released for Turkish participants of GPECOM2021 who intend to apply for Academic Encouragement Rewards in Turkish Higher Education system.

Bilindiği üzere; 17.01.2020 tarih ve 31011 sayılı Resmi Gazete’de yayınlanan Akademik Teşvik Ödeneği Yönetmeliğinde Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Yönetmelik’in 3. Maddesiyle yapılan düzenlemede, mevcut Yönetmeliğin 7. maddesinin 9. fıkrası değiştirilmişti. Bu değişiklik üzerine, Türkiye’deki katılımcılarımız için aşağıdaki detaylı listenin ve oranların paylaşılmasına ihtiyaç duyulmuştur.

2021 3rd Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM2021) konferansında, %58’i Türkiye dışındaki katılımcılar tarafından olmak üzere ve Türkiye dışından 21 farklı ülkeden sözlü tebliğ sunulmuştur.  Akademik Teşvik başvurusunda bulunmak isteyen katılımcılarımızın bilgilerine arz edilmiştir.

WELCOME

The 3rd of Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference, GPECOM2021, focuses on the latest technologies, researches and challenges of power electronics, energy systems and communication technologies. The conference will be held online on October 5-8, 2021 . 
The conference is going to be organized completely online due to Covid-19 uncertainties.
The purpose of GPECOM2021 is to provide opportunity to share the most recent research outcomes in the areas of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Control Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Conventional and Renewable Energy Systems, recent technologies of Microgrids and Smart Grids, Communication Systems and Technologies. 
It is aimed to create a professional network among researchers, academicians, professionals, engineers, and industry on the focused and related research areas of the entire energy infrastructure. Submissions of power, energy, and communication systems research papers presenting the control, modeling, design, integration and applications in technical track (TT) fields are strongly encouraged.
GPECOM2021 is a peer-review conference with blind review process.
The technical topics of the regular sessions include but are not limited to the following topics:
TT1- Power Electronics, Power Converters, Devices and Controllers
TT2- Electrical Machines and Drives
TT3- Conventional and Renewable Energy Technologies
TT4- Smart Grid Researches and Applications

Paper Submission
Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit full papers in English, 6 pages, in pdf format following instructions accessible via www.gpecom.org. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore online digital library after IEEE technical co-sponsorship approval and EI Compendex database.

Special Session
GPECOM2021 conference will include special sessions on highly specialized topic areas, reporting technical trends and breakthroughs within the scope of the conference. Special Sessions are organized at the initiative of one or more individuals, who must adhere to specific procedures published on the conference website.

General Information and Tips on Virtual Platform

Draft Program of GPECOM2020

The draft program has been scheduled for the accepted and eventually submitted camera-ready papers. The conference program includes 6 tutorials, 7 keynote lectures , and 10 paper presentation sessions.

The general information on virtual IEEE GPECOM2021 are listed below for attendees’ information;

  • The online presentation platform will be Microsoft Teams.
  • The  presentations are given online and synchronously. Each paper presentation will take 20 minutes which is shared as 15-min for presentation and 5-min for Q&A.
  • The conference sessions are scheduled in CEST (GMT+2) time zone. Please make sure of the difference between your local time and CET zone. This or similar widgets may be helpful.
  • Please check the draft program for your scheduled presentation. In case you need any revision, please send an email to secretary@gpecom.org

Camera-Ready Submissions due to September 3, 2021

Dear Colleagues and Authors,

We are pleased to announce that the review period has been completed and all authors have received Review Report. Now, we are in the camera-ready period that the reviewed papers are being revised and submitted in their final format to the CMT system in proceeding processing step. 

The deadline for camera-ready (final) paper submission is due to September 3, 2021. We hope that this period will be useful for author to take this opportunity for submitting papers to CMT system. Please make sure you have a revised your papers as stated in the Reviewer Comments, and updated them as requested in the account at paper submission system and prepared your paper complying with Camera-Ready Guidelines.

Another important issue of this period is the Registration Form  that is requested to be filled out and submitted until September 10, 2020This will be very helpful for the organization and quality of the conference flow.

Although the deadline of submissions has been passed on June 25th, Organizing Committee decided to extend the deadlines regarding to received messages asking for additional time due to COVID-19 conditions.
