The 8th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference, GPECOM2026, focuses on the latest technologies, researches and challenges of power electronics, energy systems and communication technologies. The conference will be held at Hotel NH Napoli Panorama in Naples, Italy on June 3-5, 2026.<\/p>\n

GPECOM2026 will be in a hybrid concept combining\u00a0in-person and online<\/span>\u00a0presentations to accommodate a broader audience and diverse\u00a0participation.\u00a0The primary objective of GPECOM2026 is to offer a platform\u00a0for researchers to share their most recent research findings in various domains including Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Control\u00a0Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Conventional and\u00a0Renewable Energy Systems, as well as cutting-edge technologies related to\u00a0Microgrids and Smart Grids, Communication Systems, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0conference aims to foster a professional network that connects researchers, academicians,\u00a0industry professionals, engineers, and experts in these specialized research\u00a0areas. The conference actively encourages the submission of research papers\u00a0that cover power, energy, and communication systems, with an emphasis on\u00a0control, modelling, design, integration, and practical applications across the\u00a0technical track (TT) fields.<\/p>\n

GPECOM2026 is a peer-review conference with blind review process.\u00a0<\/span>The technical topics of the regular sessions include but are not limited to the following topics:<\/span><\/p>\n

Paper Submission and Post-Conference Publishing<\/span>

Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit full papers in English, 6 pages, in pdf format following instructions accessible via www.gpecom.org. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore online digital library, and Web of Science Core Collection.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n
Up to 20% of the best papers presented at the GPECOM2026 could be eligible for review and publication on the\u00a0 <\/span>IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications or<\/span> <\/i>IEEE Industry Applications Magazine.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n
All presented papers that focus on power electronics and include experimental validation are eligible for submission to the <\/span>IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics (JESTPE)<\/span>\u00a0as a post-conference papers in extended version.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n

IEEE GPECOM2026 will host Industry Forum sessions during the conference, addressing the novel themes in trends and advances in EV technologies, Digital Twins, communication technologies, industrial and power electronics applications, trends and innovations in intelligent grid analytics.<\/p>\n

The Industry Forum is a GPECOM program for Industry to engage with research in a productive manner. Industry speakers attend to discuss industry, technology directions, and challenges for the innovation. These presentations inform the attendees on the vision and application of technologies in business and what challenges companies are encountering. The forum also offers the opportunity for researchers to study these challenges and know the contact in the companies should they have a solution that the company might utilize.
